UCSF School of Dentistry Pre-Dental Undergraduate Conference

UCSF cordially invite students from our pre-dental society in CSUF to attend the 9th Annual Impressions Undergraduate Dental Outreach Conference at the University of California, San Francisco on Saturday, February 27th, 2016 from 8:00am-5:30 pm. It will take place in N-225 in the nursing building. The Impressions Undergraduate Dental Outreach Conference at UCSF is a collaboration between the Student National Dental Association (SNDA), the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) and the Hispanic Student Dental Association (HSDA) Chapters at UCSF. The purpose of the Impressions Conference is to expose and excite undergraduate students from diverse/underrepresented backgrounds and/or underserved communities in the Bay Area about dentistry and to provide information about applying to dental school. The Impressions Conference is a full day event to benefit college/university students who exhibit an interest in pursuing dentistry. These participants will be given the opportunity to listen to guest speakers, tour UCSF School of Dentistry, participate in hands-on dental demonstrations/workshops, learn about the admissions process/how to become a competitive candidate, how to prepare for the Dental Admission Test (DAT) and to interact with UCSF dental students, faculty and alumni! 2) In addition to the registration, there is a conference fee of $20. Please pay the conference fee using the EventBrite link here:

3) Optional: As an extra incentive to work on your personal statements, we will offer a scholarship prize for best essay. If you wish, please bring your essays to the personal statement review and mock interview workshop which we will hold as the end of the day for feedback. If you wish to be considered for the scholarship, please send your personal statement to ucsf.snda@gmail.com by Monday, February 22nd.
